Muktinath trek

muktinath trek

When it comes to trekking in Nepal, the Muktinath trek would be your best bet. From September to November, Muktinath makes for a terrific trek, with the complete package of ancient temples and monasteries, views of incredible mountains, and villagers who show immense hospitality to the fellow travellers and astonishingly wide clearings in the forests. It is a pilgrimage place for both Buddhist and Hindu and one of the most popular destinations for both religious and adventurous travellers. (internal or external).

Muktinath trip begins from Kali Gandaki River into the World’s highest region passing along barren landscape, a steep rocky trail up and down hill. One of the remarkable things that one gets to witness during their trek through this route is Kali Gandaki Valley, which passes through the deepest gorge in the world, Kali Gandaki gorge. This is a very dry area owing to the little rain it gets which in turn makes it the best place to trek in Nepal even in Monsoon rain.

In short Muktinath is a must visit place if you’re looking for some place to soothe your eyes and brain.
