Trip Itinerary

  • Day 01 : Arrival Day - Kathmandu 1400 m
    You will be welcomed and received on your arrival by a representative of IME Travels at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Later, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the evening there will be a welcome dinner in a traditional Nepali Restaurant where we will be able to enjoy authentic Nepali cuisine with a brief cultural program.Overnight in Kathmandu.

  • Day 02: Fly to Lukla, trek to Phakding
    After breakfast,we will drive to the airport to take a flight to Lukla, the gateway to Everest Region accompanied by your trekking guide.During the 40-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla , we enjoy one of the most beautiful air routes in the world reaching on a hillside surrounded by high mountainous peaks. we land in Lukla, an exceptionally beautiful mountain town where we meet our porters and prepare for the walk of the day to Phakding.The descending walk leads us the Dudh Koshi River and to Phakding village for the overnight stay.

  • Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 6hrs.
    We have our breakfast early in the morning and get ready to walk through a beautiful pine forest, we follow the trail north up the valley of Benkar. We then cross Dudh Koshi River and go on passing Chumoa to Monjo, the entrance to Everest National Park. Our path along the riverbank is bounded by two crossings, one of which is the Hillary Suspension Bridge. It's a tough climb up the hill to our resting place, but you'll be rewarded in Namche Bazaar with your first glimpse of Everest.

  • Day 04:- Rest in Namche for acclimatization.
    Today will be spent resting and allowing our bodies to become acclimatized to the lofty altitude. Our guides can take us to explore the real charm of Namche Bazaar. Hiking to Sagarmatha National Park rewards trekkers with a sunrise view and the views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde. If we are interested in a day hike, we trek to Khumjung village -a beautiful village with a Sherpa settlement. In exploring Namche Bazar, we observe traditional Sherpa life, Khumjung Hillary School, and enjoy flora and fauna found at such altitude. Overnight in guesthouse

  • Day 05:- Trek from Namche to dole (4040m) 5hrs.
    Almost 5 hours walk takes us to dole and then we will walk towards to the gokyo valley.The walk today takes us through rhododendron and pine forest with magnificent views of mountains. The walk passes through Phungi Thanga with the view of Tengboche and Phortse village. Mostly uphill walk today rewards us with an incredible view along the trail and from Doley-our stopping point - a small village adorned with a handful of teahouses.

  • Day 06:- Trek to Machhermo (4410m) 4hrs.
    Y will walk to Machhermo after breakfast.We'll follow our trail along a valley high over the river, crossing sandy spurs to reach Machhermo by midday with enough time to visit the Himalayan Rescue Association and get some well-needed rest.

  • Day 07:- Trek to Gokyo(4743 m)3hrs hike to Gokyo-Ri (5320m)
    We start our day with fantastic views of the valley to Kangtega and the northern part of Cho-Oyu. We'll descend towards the river bank and then begin the climb towards the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpa glacier. We'll pause to appreciate the view before trekking another hour to the village of Gokyo for the overnight stay.

  • Day 08: Trek to Thaknak(4650m) 4hrs
    After breakfast we take our steps to the second lake and climb to the crest of the moraine overlooking the Ngozumpa glacier. The route across the glacier is well marked with cairns and takes us to the eastern side of the Gokyo Valley. We stay tonight at Thangna at the foot of the Cho La Pass.

  • Day 09:- Trek to Dzongla(4843m) via chola pass (5420m) 8hrs.
    Today We'll face a steep climb after breakfast, followed immediately by a sharp drop in the trail heading down towards the bottom of the Chola Pass. We climb down from Dzongla and walk through a grassy trail while enjoying the view of Lobuche Peak. After passing passing Buddhist prayer flags and gorgeous mountain views before carefully following an icy downhill trail past a huge rock to Dzungla.

  • Day 10: Dzongla to Lobuche
    Today we will almost walk 3-4 hour to Labouche.After having breakfast, We ascend to the steep terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. The trail passes through boulder stone slopes as we ascend Chupki Lhara which is a ridge that provides breathtaking view of mountain . The top of the ridge is filled with prayer flags and stones which are memorial for climbers who lost their lives on Mt. Everest. As we walk down to the Khumbu Glacier moraine, we find ourselves facing several peaks including Khumbu Tse, Lingtren, Pumori,Mahalangur and Mt. Nuptse. Overnight in Lobuche.

  • Day 11:Lobuche to Gorak Shep, visit Everest Base Camp
    This is a quite difficult day walk along the Khumbu Glacier and up to Everest Base Camp. As we reach the base camp, we enjoy the incredible melt patterns and admire rounded ice towers on the upper part of the Khumbu glacier. We can enjoy amazing views of Nuptse, Khumbuste and Pumori mountains from the base camp. After cherishing the beauty of this place, we walk back towards Gorak Shep where we spend the night. Overnight in Gorak Shep.

  • Day 12: GorakShep to Kala Patthar to Dingboche
    Early morning we walk up to Kala Patthar. As we are climbing up the hill we can see the world’s tallest mountain Everest along other mighty Himalayan peaks. we spend some time at the summit of Kala Patthar later we walk back to Gorak Shep which is relatively easier than hiking up to Kala Patthar.After returning to Gorak Shep, we will have lunch together. After lunch we trek down to Dingboche to spend the night. Overnight in Dingboche

  • Day 13: Dingboche to Namche Bazaar
    From Dingboche we take a bit different route down to Orsho then to Pangboche village. In this village we see the oldest monastery in the region which contains what is said to be the scalp and bones or abominable snowman. Leaving mountains behind us our descent takes us through the Tengboche Monastery before continuing back to Namche Bazaar. We arrive back to Namche Bazaar in the afternoon. Overnight at Namche.

  • Day 14: Namche Bazaar to Lukla
    Today We begin our trek to Namche Bazaar. It is mostly a downhill trek alongside the Dudh Koshi River. We cross several suspension bridges, pass by several monasteries and villages before reaching Lukla. After reaching Lukla we spend rest of the day taking rest.We will celebrate with our crew members as today will be our last day on the mountains. Overnight in Lukla.

  • Day 15: Lukla to Kathmandu
    Early morning, We take first flight to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu, we can take a rest.If we want to explore any other areas of Kathmandu, we may do that and there will be a farewell dinner in the evening to celebrate the successful completion of our journey. Overnight in Kathmandu.

  • Day 16: Final Departure
    After breakfast,our representative of Trekkers Nepal will drive to airport and from here catch a flight for onward destination.
