Sikles Trek from Pokhara is a beautiful journey to the least-explored and one of the largest Gurung villages in the Annapurna region of Nepal. It is a roughly 5-hour bus ride and 20.2 km away from Pokhara. Sikles is located above Madi Khola at an altitude of 1,981m.
Sikles Trek is a newly introduced trek and is gaining popularity in recent years. Walk past Gurung village and enjoy spectacular views of majestic mountains like the Annapurna range, Fishtail, and Manaslu. The trail from Pokhara to Sikles offers you close-up views of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal. Traverse rhododendron and oak forests and unfold the beauty of the Annapurna region.
Sikles Trop is an opportunity to experience the interesting culture of the Gurung community. The Kapuche Glacier Lake is 3 days trek from Sikles which can be extended to the trip from Sikles, however, it’s cost is extra.

Itinerary
The tourist bus to Pokhara from Shorakhuttey, Kathmandu at around 6 am. It takes around 8hrs to reach Pokhara from Kathmandu in a tourist bus. The bus will be stopped for lunch halfway through the journey where guests can get the food as per their preference. After reaching the bus station in Pokhara, our vehicle will transfer guests to the hotel. Check-in hotel and either rest or walk in the Lakeside, Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.
Breakfast and drive to Sikles from Pokhara on a private jeep. It takes around 3hrs drive to reach Sikles from Pokhara. It is some what of a road drive passing Kahu Khola. Guests can have lunch and snacks in Taprang Village. There are small villages of Gurung settlements with homestays on the way such as Chipli Village and Khilang Village. Dinner and overnight in homestay in Sikles Village.
Today, guests will have Nepalese Style breakfast in the homestay, hike to Rishidhu Dada, return to Sikles Village, and village tour afterward. After breakfast, one of our local guides will take guests for a steep uphill hike to Rishidhu Dada which takes around 1 hr to 1.5 hrs depending upon the individual. Once reaching the top of the hill a clear view of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna II can be seen along with other peaks. Moreover, if the guests are interested we can arrange a local guide as well that will take them to Kapuche Glacier Lake as well. It will need additional 3 days to reach Kapuche Lake and return to Sikles which can be arranged with extra days and additional cost.
After returning from the hike, lunch will be waiting in the homestay where you can enjoy typical Nepalese food with the Himalayan flavor. Guests can explore the village and interact with the locals. Dinner and overnight stay in Sikles.
Early morning breakfast and drive back to Pokhara. Free-day and overnight in Pokhara.
Transfer to the bus station from the hotel at around 6 am and drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara by tourist bus.
