Overnight at Everest Summit Lodge in Pangboche. [B/L/D]

After having scrumptious breakfast, for the next 1.5 hours, we take the steep down trail following the Imja Khola and walk past the rhododendron forest. Our site will be fixated on the captivating views of the Himalayas including Everest, Kwangde, Tawache, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Katanga, and Thamserku. We cross a wooden bridge and start ascending up to the ridge where the new Tengboche monastery has been built as the old (original) one was destroyed by fire in 1989. The descending to the bridge over the Dudh Koshi River, from Tengboche, at Phunki Tenga, the place contains the water driven prayer wheels. From here, ascend towards Namche where you can spend a relaxing evening while enjoying a well-earned cup of coffee and German pastry.

Breakfast at Hotel.
We start our day late in the morning after having breakfast. We leisurely make our way through the forest whilst Everest is in our sight for an hour approx. We then cross the bridge to reach the trail that follows the Dudh Koshi River which we will continue to follow for the next 1 hour until we arrive at Jorsalle where our permit will be checked. Another 15 minutes of gradual trekking will lead us to Monjo village. The rest of the evening is at leisure or pursue the activities to explore the little village.
Overnight at Yeti Mountain Home in Monjo. [B/L/D]

After breakfast, we leave this small village behind and head towards Lukla. It is a 20 minutes of downhill trekking to reach a suspension bridge and 15 minutes of further walk to see Kusum Kankuru Mountain peeking at us from atop. The trail is almost flattened this day making our trek easy and we reach Phakding shortly after crossing another bridge. This quaint little town offers local tea houses for weary tourists but we continue towards Lukla via Chuplung village. Another 1.5 hours of slow and gradual walk will lead us to Lukla and just before we step into Lukla village, we can see statue of Pasang Lhamu Sherpa built to tribute her.
The trip comes to an end after arriving in Lukla. Our chopper will fly you back to Kathmandu and you may spend a relaxing afternoon in the abundance of nature and recount the unforgettable memories of Everest region.
