Haleshi Mahadev. The path to Haleshi Mahadev is to contact the spirit of Lord Shiva, as the Pashupatinath temple in western Nepal is claimed to be. At an altitude of 1,460 miters, Halesi Mahadev cave is situated in the remote Khotang district. In Halesi, which is also known as Matrica Cave, there are two major caves. As predicted, for six thousand years, the Halesi Cave has been used as a dwelling. Within the tunnel, Lord Shiva hides to protect the demon Bhasmasur. It’s an equally important location for Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimages. During Shivaratri, special fares and festivals are organized. Ram Navami in the city, and Ganesh Chaturthi.

Your journey begins with an early morning drive to Haleshi via Ghurmi and Jayram Ghat.
Lunch will be served on the way. Upon reaching Haleshi, you can enjoy your dinner and stay
overnight at the hotel.

On the second day you can go to Haleshi Mahadev Temple Darshan. You can enjoy your
breakfast after the darshan. Following your breakfast you will depart back to Kathmandu.
